How To Be Involved?

Instead of letting passive entertainment of movies, TV shows and video games babysit your teens,why not ship them off to TeenStreet - as long as they're 13 to 17 years of age?

We would also appreciate your help in identifying leaders/adults with a heart for youth from your church to be involved with TeenStreet.

Alternatively, feel free to invite us to do a presentation about TeenStreet at your church or youth group.

Pray for TeenStreet – send us your email and we will send you regular updates.

We desire to make TS accessible to all Malaysian teens, hence subsidising the participants' fees. You can help out by donating to TS gifts in ca$h or kind.

Service Crew

Jesus asked us to serve and love those who are around us, so heed His instructions by being part of the Service Crew! As long as you're 18 or older, we welcome you to jump aboard a smogasboard of personalities found in the Service Team at TeenStreet.

Service Crew members get to experience TeenStreet from a different angle, by serving others with their gifts and abilities. Working as a team can be a challenge. And there's usually some free time to join in the main programme as well, so nobody feels left out...

These are just some of the many areas that Service Crew members work in:

* TeenStreet Cafe
* Sports Team
* Security Team
* Main Hall Team
* The TeenStreet Store

There are lots of possibilities where people of many different backgrounds, skills and abilities can be a part of the TeenStreet experience and serve the participants in many different ways. And it's worth every minute of it!

Slaves to Christ, apply for the Service Crew position.

TeenStreet Worship Band

Calling all Christian bands within the Klang Valley! If you are interested to dish out music that worships the Lord and catches the attention of young people at TeenStreet, why not have you and your mates apply to be part of the Worship Band?

The Coaches

Monkey see, monkey do - or so the adage goes. The same applies to teens as well, which is why it is important for them to be surrounded by a godly adult example. As a Coach, you are responsible for the 6 teens in your small group, also known as your NET. Responsibilities consist of leading the morning NET time (this includes Bible Study, guide them through the BIG Adventure and the Wrap up), spending free time with them as a group or an individual when appropriate, generally making sure your NET and you bond together in an accountable manner while keeping teenage mischief at bay. Coaches also have to meet with their respective M&M Leaders each day.

Coaches ought to exhibit the following :

* Born on or before the year 1988.
* Have a real personal relationship with Jesus and reflect Him in their world.
* Live a moral Christian lifestyle.
* Be willing to submit to authority.
* Enjoy working with people - be it younger, peers or older.
* Be actively involved in a church.
* Be Spirit-controlled under stressful or difficult circumstances.
* Have a hold on their own issues.
* Be open and honest with themselves and God.
* Be quick to listen, slow to speak.
* Have firm control of temper.
* Balance serious and fun-loving side.
* Have a sense of humour! :)

Who wants to be part of the slave driver...er, we mean Coach Team?
